Okay, spring hasn't come; got stuck in the middle of Scotland, couldn't get home from Edinburgh and had to spend the night in Moffat - more on flickr.

Poor you.
Moffat toffee is really good - have you had some?
It is sort of sour sweet.
I have relatives from there, between Moffatt and Peebles - next time you should drop in on them.

Moffat was great; once we had found somewhere to stay we repaired (??) to one of those warm hotels only found in Scotland which double as a great restaurant as well as being the local pub - the intricacies of peat and malt and west coast whiskeys were explained to us, so soon I will be able to keep up with OMF (=Our Mutual F). No toffee there.
