I wondered why we were given a pineapple for Christmas and now realise it was for The Christmas Game.
But how do you play it?
Where are the isntructions?

Oh, do I have to answer?? I want to find hundreds of people out there who play the pineapple game and I need to believe it is not just the one fmily I learned it from. Instructions to follow in a few days.....

Okay, okay, okay. Christmas day, early evening. Everyone puts a small amount into the kitty (20p in England) and guesses the number of green leaflets at the top of the pineapple. Then the youngest person present pulls them out one at a time,counting carefully, and the person with the nearest guess wins.
